The Bureau of Justice (BJA) has re-examined the entire criminal justice system to see what is successfully working in the field to reduce crime, recidivism and what strategies are making our communities safer. The basic requirements you need include being 18-years-old or older, have a high school diploma or equivalent. Depending on where you are trying to work, you might be required to have a valid driver’s license.
